Recently Think Tank went on a Bardel tour and got a sneak peak on the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series that is currently in production. Students were able to see all areas of the studio to experience the riggers of production first hand, and get a feel for one of the many unique work environments of the CG industry. They were taken on the tour by Florian Wagner who is currently a director at Bardel Entertainment in Van couver. A graduate of Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg’s Institute of Animation and Visual Effects in Ludwigsburg, Germany, Florian has worked in the animation industry all over the world. He has contributed to 19 feature films ranging from independent productions to full-scale feature films for Universal Pictures and Walt Disney Animation and has directed broadcast television productions for north american and international markets.
