Office Manager/Registrar

Type: Permanent, Full-time
Start Date: March 2017

Think Tank is on the hunt for a new Office Manager/Registrar to join our team. This role is responsible for processing admissions, communicating with students, liaising with staff, scheduling, and basic book-keeping/payroll. The Office Manager works self-sufficiently and reports to the two school owners. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. If this position fits your skill-set, then we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities:

  • Interfacing and helping students with documentation and getting settled at the school
  • Scheduling classes, meetings and events
  • Payroll and basic book-keeping for school staff
  • Admissions/registrar
  • Using and updating our Learning Management System (LMS)  
  • Front Desk: screen and direct phone calls, greet guests, general office duties
  • Assist with organizing seasonal student events and activities, school open houses
  • Oversees the school maintenance

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Friendly, professional and courteous
  • Versatile and efficient in completing tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of MS Office, Quickbooks, Photoshop
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities

Bonus Points:

  • Experience dealing with student loans
  • Familiar with PCTIA or the new BC Private Training Institutions Branch
  • Experience with project management software
