Hello, My name is Cat, I’m currently working at Ubisoft Toronto as a 3D model artist for biomes team. In the past, I have worked at The Coalition studio as an environment artist, and I also freelance after work for Dekogon studios. I started off my career in art as an illustrator/Graphic designer after receiving my BDes degree at OCAD University, then slowly transitioned into game art through making indie games with friends and eventually received a graduate certificate in Game art and Animation. Working in the game industry has been absolutely amazing and I’d love to share what I have learned through my journey to help students make their dream come true. I have experience in building AAA quality assets, constructing and lighting level in Unreal Engine 4, foliage creation and some of my key software skills include – Maya, 3ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Speedtree, UE4. When I am not working I like to play games and read horror comics.
