Chris van Dyck is a passionate artist, traveler, business leader, community organizer, husband and father of three. Utilizing the EOS framework, Chris bootstrapped a company (CVD VFX) in 2015, trailblazing the way for emerging small studios in the VFX industry.

Starting as a VFX Artist in 2003, Chris pursued project based work, specializing in Compositing at an international level. Holding several roles, from Sr. Artist to Supervisor, he has worked in New Zealand: Wëtä Digital  (The Hobbit Trilogy); USA: Industrial Light & Magic (Transformers & Warcraft); Australia: Animal Logic (300), Rising Sun Pictures (Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince); and in Vancouver, Canada: MPC (Life of Pi), Method (Thor: The Dark World), The Embassy (Ironman), Prime Focus (Tron).


Chris will be speaking at the Think Tank Campus on Wednesday, September 13 at 12pm (PST) in the Life Drawing Room.
