Meet the industry: John...Join John Gajdecki on Campus Thursday, August 3 at 2pm (PST). John is an industry veteran with over 20 years experience working in the local TV and Film industry as well as Hollywood. He started his own artist-driven VFX company, GVFX, and went on to help define a burgeoning CG landscape.His work received international attention in the late 90s and early 2000s for his groundbreaking VFX work on the Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis series. This landed him three Gemini Awards as well as three nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards.Alongside being more of a family man, he now works consulting productions to avoid the problems VFX artists all see coming and deal with the ones he wishes he did when he was working on shows.
