Meet the industry: Mainframe...Legendary (local) CG Animators Mainframe Studios will be speaking to Think Tank Thursday, December 7 at 4pm (PST).
Founded in 1993, Mainframe created the very first fully-CG TV series, ReBoot. The’ve produced 1000+ hours of TV, over 60 feature-length projects, and two theatrical feature films. Mainframe’s creative-driven approach marries seamlessly with rock-solid production processes. We'll be joined by CG Supervisor, Adam Dewar, and Talent Acquisition Specialist, Tim Torres. They'll discuss life at Mainframe, the industry in general, and how to prepare to land that first gig.

Who will be here?
Adam Dewar:
Prior to this Mainframe, Adam embarked worked as a 3D Animator after graduating in 2013. His passion for the industry stems from its unique blend of technical expertise and artistic creativity, which worked out pretty perfectly, as he’s better with a keyboard than I am with a paint brush.
Tim Torres:
Tim Torres has been recruiting at Mainframe for over 3 years. Some of the main departments he’s recruited for are Modeling, Surfacing, Rigging, FX, and CFX. He loves working in the Animation industry, especially since his artistic abilities end at drawing birds in the sky as 'm's.
