Breaking: Scholarship...After an intense application process, we are delighted to announce the very first cohort of the Imagination in Motion Scholarship. Sponsored by the incredible folks at Bardel Entertainment this scholarship will provide an opportunity like no other for five dedicated BC-based artists. On June 9, 2025, the First Five will begin CG Fundamentals, an intense 16-week program designed to kickstart their journey into 3D Art with their entire tuition covered. In addition to the world-class training provided by Think Tank, they’ll receive exclusive workshops, tours, and opportunities from Bardel, one of Vancouver’s most iconic CG studios.

🎓 Imagination in Motion: A CG Arts Scholarship
Emmy-winning animation studio, Bardel Entertainment, partnered with renowned 3D art school, Think Tank Training Centre to launch Imagination in Motion: A CG Arts Scholarship, a new initiative supporting underrepresented Canadian artists in British Columbia. Starting in June 2025, the scholarship awards five artists with $4,250 CAD towards covering their tuition for the 16-week CG Fundamentals Certificate Program at Think Tank Training Centre. This program offers hands-on training from industry professionals, giving recipients the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of computer graphics and take their first steps toward a career in the 3D graphics, animation and visual effects industry.
