For years, SideFX’s Houdini has been a mainstay in VFX. But now more than ever we are seeing this software tool be relied on by some of the biggest and most influential studios in Film and Games. Professional CG artists, many who have been working in the industry for years, are finding it vital to learn Houdini in order to remain competitive and relevant within the industry.

This is why Think Tank is launching the Houdini Up-Skill Graduate Bursary ahead of the June 3, 2024 Start Date. Exclusively for artists who have previously completed a Think Tank program, this bursary will help you get started on adding “Houdini Generalist” to your resumé. Be among the first to take this elite Houdini training and receive $1,000CAD towards tuition for one of Think Tank’s brand-new Houdini-focused programs: Houdini for Film or Games (Online) or Houdini+3D for Film or Games (Hybrid).

Got a question? Our Admissions Coordinator, Sheena, can help!

NOTE: The Houdini Up-Skill Bursary is exclusively for Think Tank graduates interested in Houdini for Film or Games or Houdini+3D for Film or Games for the February 2024 Term.

Why should I learn Houdini?

As a true benchmark in 3D and VFX software, your ability to both comprehend and integrate Houdini into a pipeline for Film or Games immediately elevates not only your work, but your value to a project.

By harnessing the power of Houdini at Think Tank, you’ll master the software’s advanced procedural workflow to create elevated animations, VFX sequences, and 3D assets for games. Specializing in your field of interest, you will create a portfolio that is catered toward a particular career, and often, a specific studio.
