Think Tank launches Houdini...For years, SideFX’s Houdini has been a mainstay in VFX. But now more than ever we are seeing this software tool be relied on by some of the biggest and most influential studios in Film and Games. Professional CG artists, many who have been working in the industry for years, are finding it vital to learn Houdini in order to remain competitive and relevant within the industry.
This is why Think Tank is launching the Houdini Up-Skill Graduate Bursary ahead of the June 3, 2024 Start Date. Exclusively for artists who have previously completed a Think Tank program, this bursary will help you get started on adding “Houdini Generalist” to your resumé. Be among the first to take this elite Houdini training and receive $1,000CAD towards tuition for one of Think Tank’s brand-new Houdini-focused programs: Houdini for Film or Games (Online) or Houdini+3D for Film or Games (Hybrid).

Think Tank's Houdini Programs
Taught through Think Tank’s interactive platform, Portal, this program combines prerecorded tutorials, collaborative workshops, and one-on-one portfolio production to prepare students for a career in Film, TV, or Games. Learn more about this fully online option here.
The first 48 weeks combine prerecorded tutorials, collaborative workshops, and one-on-one training to prepare students for a career in Film, TV, or Games remotely. The final 16 weeks of this program takes place at the Think Tank Campus in North Vancouver, an international hub for Film and Games. Work directly with your personal mentor while taking advantage of the full Think Tank experience: access to exclusive events, seminars from local studios, and the opportunity to work alongside CG artists from a variety of specializations. This Houdini Up-Skill Bursary provides Think Tank graduates with advanced training in how to become a Houdini Generalist and produce a Houdini-focused demo reel catered towards the needs of the industry.
